Hey Babes! Summer is here! Okay, summer season may not be as exciting for somebody like me who has lived in a tropical country her whole life compared to those who live in other countries who experience other seasons, but then again, this season gives everybody an excuse to go to their closet, dust off those florals and flaunt them away!
Summer has always been closely associated with florals ever since I can remember. When I was younger, my mother would buy my sister and I floral dresses and we would wear these to outings during summer breaks. I guess that's why it has been implanted in the style department of my brain that yeah, florals are scheduled during summer because mom made us accustomed to it. Ha ha!
SKORTS: Story telling time: I bought these skorts at NCCC Department Store a couple of years ago and this has been one of my closet favorites. Whenever I see this one, it makes me sad and tearful because I remember the fire incident that happened to NCCC Mall last December 2017. NCCC Department Store has tons of great stylish pieces and I am looking forward to shopping there again at their Uyanguren branch soon.
Oh, and the skorts actually give out a tropical vibe thanks to the colors and of course, the presence of florals.
NECKLACE: As for the necklace, I specifically chose this one because the colors on the plastic chains matches the skorts that I am wearing.
BAG: Miel let me borrow her round rattan bag for this shoot and it went very well with my outfit. The bag definitely spells TROPICAL, eh?
EARRINGS: I got the earrings as a Christmas gift from my friend, Xiena. I decided to wear black earrings instead of loud colored ones to tone down the outfit and again, bring the emphasis to the skorts that I am wearing.
