COCA COLA BEVERAGES PHILIPPINES, INC. (CCBPI) is bringing its global vision of creating a WORLD WITHOUT WASTE by creating a long standing partnership with the Provincial Government of Davao del Sur.
The local LGUs of Davao del Sur - Digos City, Bansalan, Hagonoy, Kiblawan, Magsaysay, Malalag, Matanao, Padada, Sta. Cruz, and Sulop - are all on board with this advocacy to institute wide-ranging and positive initiatives of a better and greener future.

One clear example of bringing this vision to life is the TAPON TO IPON, BASTA KLARO, PANALO program - CCBPI's nationwide recycling program in which collection hubs are stationed at various places around the country where people can leave their used, empty plastic bottles (of any brand). Afterwards, these plastic bottles are sent to PETValue Philippines - the country's first bottle-to-bottle recycling facility which is located at General Trias, Cavite.
There are around 70 TAPON TO IPON sari-sari collection hubs in Davao del Sur. To further encourage
store owners from Davao del Sur to participate in this program, CCBPI developed an incentive-based strategy wherein SMEs will receive additional income on top of their sari-sari store business. Another incentive is that consumers will receive Coca-Cola products in exchange for the plastic bottles that they will turn-over at the collection hubs.
So if you have used, empty plastic bottles lying around the house, or after that family or office summer outing, you can drop these off at a TAPON TO IPON collection hub near you. Not only do you get Coca-Cola products in exchange for such, but you also get to help the environment as well.
